Aarding Lightweight Granulates analyses the optimal formula for the combination of residue or raw material, binder and additives in a special dedicated laboratory. Larger samples can be processed into granulate for testing their physical properties.

The application of the granulate made out of residues can also be tested in the same facility as substitute for natural gravel in building materials.
