Aarding Lightweight Granulates BV is active in the environmental market as an engineering, contracting and equipment supply company.
We develop and market technologies which convert residues into useful end products and finely divided dusty raw materials into an easy to handle product.
Aarding Lightweight Granulates BV is a subsidiary of Aarding Beheer BV were it all started in the mid seventies with the initial laboratory tests of fly-ashes and the development of the Aardelite process.
The Aardelite process is using the puzzolanic properties of the fly-ash in combination with a binder like lime to form cementitious minerals.
During the years several related processes has been developed for all different kind of materials and several Aardelite plants has been build.
One of the engineers involved from the beginning is co-founder of and working for Aarding Lightweight Granulates.
In December 2004 we obtained the worldwide license of the Aardelite and Carbolite technology from Danieli Corus.
